People shopping for a great sport utility stroller - specifically for any of the BOB Stroller Sport Utility Models - may or may not know that there are actually three different models to choose from. Each of these models has some unique features that could make one stroller better than another for individual needs.
The three BOB Stroller Sport Utility models include the Ironman, SUS Sport Utility and the Sport Utility Deluxe. Mainly what these strollers have in common is their basic purpose - having a good jog or run while taking along small children. They also are lightweight with a strong and durable design and an incredibly well thought out and designed suspension - resulting in a comfortable and smooth ride for babies, even while jogging. Especially for new parents who take their fitness and running very seriously, one of these models would be an excellent choice.
Here is a bit of information on each stroller's differences:
BOB Ironman Stroller - This is the lightest of all BOB strollers. It's created with a strong but lightweight aluminum alloy and is the favorite stroller of many serious parent runners. This is the stroller that meets all of the stringent requirements set forth by the Ironman Triathlon and is probably the best choice if someone is part of the Ironman (or Irongirl) Triathlon, or simply if you are a serious athletic runner. Standard price for the Ironman strollers is $480 for the Duallie, $350 for the Single.
BOB SUS Sport Utility Stroller - This stroller has "knobby" traction tires and is a good choice for off-road jogging purposes. This stroller is equipped to keep the ride smooth for little ones, even with some pretty bumpy conditions. The price for this stroller is a bit lower than the other two - $430 for the Duallie and $300 for the Single model.
BOB D'Lux Stroller - Similar to the Ironman, this stroller has aluminum wheels with smooth bicycle-style tires for a superior handling with on-road jogging. I've not been able to locate a Duallie model for this particular stroller but there is a Single model available - cost is around $350 retail.
The price you pay for any of these BOB Stroller Sport Utility models will be approximately the same from most merchants online - especially during the warmer months of the year when they are in the highest demand. There are resources online that have occasional markdown prices, while there are others where these models can be purchased for quite a bit less.
